We had a sumptuous dinner at this place on a rainy Saturday night. We had booked ahead which definitely helped because the place was crowded. The food was delicious, the waiters were gracious and the place was extremely cosy. Would love to visit again.

When I was still living in Munich-Pasing, I often went to the Taverna Kypros to eat. You can always eat Greek. If I've ordered a grill plate or a gyros with french fries and a salad with it, it's always delicious. Why I no longer go there is when I order a salad and see that there are only 2 olives on it, that annoys me a lot and when you say to the waiter you would like more olives and you would also pay them and what comes, nothing. If you can't even fulfill such small wishes, it is no longer worth going there. That's why only 1 star from me. Save yourself the way. Rainer

Food was very good, we had tzaziki and pita bread as a starter, lamb sauce and the daily grill plate with gyros turkey and lamb skewers, waiters friendly and funny, we'll be back.

This restaurant with the owner and his staff can only be commended. There is no other option here. The quality and taste of the food from the starter to the Dessert perfect and this underlined by a lovely staff. In the few hours of your stay in the restaurant you have the feeling of being on a small, paradisiacal island in Greece. What else could you wish for. Try it out and it's not my fault if you can't get a seat without a reservation. My recommendation, stuffed baby calamari. Whenever we are in Munich, dinner is a must here !! Big compliments to the very friendly, attentive team, which always surprises us with something new! Whether starter, main or dessert - simply delicious!

Super tasty and inexpensive! The staff were all extremely friendly, made jokes and at the end there was even dessert on the house! We will go there more often now :-)

This Greek is a real experience. The menu is straightforward and very varied! There is everything your heart desires. If something is not on the menu, a good alternative is offered! Very attentive service and well trained! We keep coming back to this restaurant when we are very hungry! Keep it up !!!

My husband and I went there for lunch on May 22nd. Took place in the courtyard. The waiter came and slammed the menus onto the table with arrogance and listlessness. Wanted to order a bottle of wine, didn't we mean ????? He was certainly not stressed, there were 2 other guests there, so 4 guests ...... The food was very good .... sea bream fillet with potatoes and vegetables. Tip to the waiter ... More friendliness, especially in the Corona period in which we are .....

Food is very delicious and they large variety of dishes. Everything was just perfect. We have been there twice. Host is very warm and nice. Must try Greek food.

Delicious food, lovely waiter/owner, nice interior. Fills up quickly in the evening (we visited on a Tuesday and it was packed out by 7pm) with what seemed to be regulars. Would definitely visit again.

Best Greek restaurant ever, and very welcoming people

The Greek restaurant is best for me in Munich. The food is alot and well cooked. The waiters are always very nice and fast. I know the restaurant until it's open, about 2 years. It has the tables inside, outside (street) and a small back garden. If you live or just on vacation, you should eat in the restaurant! ?

Some of the best service I've ever gotten anywhere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Having entered equipped only with my broken German, I was happy to discover that they were willing to talk English and offered to translate the menu, should there be issues. The food was excellent, taste was fresh, and the presentation was very pleasant. Food tasted very authentic, as far as my memory serves from my visits to Greece. And the ouzo offered as dessert was a nice touch, further establishing the place's hospitality. The place looks a little more prestigious than I assumed when I walked in but that did not result in rude or arrogant treatment towards people who ordered only main courses and water. The prices are also more than reasonable considering the quality of food and the service. Definitely returning still several times over!

I would like to strongly recommend you to try out kypros. I have eaten in this greek restaurant several times so far and their food has been always fantastic. Recently their cook has changed and they now expanded their menu with several special starters worth trying out. Deserts are also amazing. Served portions are of reasonable size so you won’t leave hungry. Everything served in a very elegant manner with a full attention to the slightest detail. Last but not least, the staff is very nice and friendly. And what I like particularly, is that they make themselves recommendations of what to try out from their top specialties. Very positive and fully recommended! Looking forward to my next visit

For me, the best greek restaurant in Munich. 1. Apfelschorle made from real apple juice and sparkling water. In 99% restaurants you'll get just normal Apfelschorle from a bottle 2. Very fresh and delicious bread. I ordered 2 baskets more ? 3. Side salad fresh and delicious. Dressing fit to it 4. Main dish Meat was fresh and tasty. Metaxa sauce too. 5. Waiters asking and active but let you eat in peace. 6. Free wifi. All in all perfect experience. Thank you Kypros team. Ps: Do you know what is the best test about quality of the food in a restaurant ? Sorry that I have to write it. But the way you fart ?. Heavy and bad food = bad farting. Here everything was perfect. ?

Excellent food and a cheerful welcome.

Lovely experience. Our waiter was gracious and helpful and very patient with us as English speakers. The food was top notch. The Salata Kypros with grilled artichokes and cheese is a nice lighter option. The two of us shared that and the lamb souvlaki dinner and it was ample and delicious.
